I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), and I help clients to identify their areas of challenge, and their personal goals and values, so that our treatment and resources can be tailored to the client’s unique needs and strengths.
My approach to therapy integrates multiple therapeutic modalities including Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Exposure & Response Prevention Planning (ERP) and Psychodynamic Therapy. I have also completed training on treating ADHD, and Women-Centered ADHD.
Many of my clients are struggling with and seeking support around issues like anxiety, complex or relational trauma in childhood, trust & relationship issues, depression, ADHD, codependency, low self-esteem, perfectionism, harsh self-judgment, and shame. And often (but not always) we can trace many of these difficulties back to our childhood or past traumatic events, and the negative and self-limiting core beliefs that can result from those experiences. Other important areas we will often address include work on self-compassion, stress management, work-life balance, self-care, life & career transitions, purpose, and values.
I understand that the decision to ask for help can be so difficult. Please know that our work together will focus on collaboration, authenticity and trust, in an environment that is inclusive, warm, non-judgmental and safe. I’m a big believer in “baby steps.” We go at your pace. I hope that you will take this first big step for yourself.
