Michael Chamberlain, PsyD
In addition to therapy, Dr. Chamberlain has a subspecialty in comprehensive psychological testing and is passionate about helping individuals understand how information-processing, executive functioning, and cognitive capacity impacts lived-experience. Although not currently working as an evaluator at Midwest Counseling, he is experienced at selecting, utilizing, and interpreting a wide range of psychological and neuropsychological instruments to help answer questions about ADHD, neurodiversity, learning differences, and mood and personality. With this skill set, he can help interpret results of formal psychological testing, and assist in the development of treatment goals.
Dr. Chamberlain earned his doctorate of clinical psychology in 2010 from Pacific University School of Graduate Psychology in Portland, Oregon. Prior to joining Midwest Counseling in 2021, he had a career in international corporate mental health benefits. In that role, he oversaw clinical service delivery at various organizations across the globe. He currently splits his time between a local FQHC, where he manages a neuropsychological assessment program – and Midwest Counseling, where he provides individual therapy to adults.
