Katrina LoBue, LCPC, CEDS
I believe that navigating life is not meant to be a solitary journey.
I strive to foster a collaborative, inviting and at times humorous experience with my clients. My approach is rooted in a contextualized understanding of your life experiences—both past and present. I often work with individuals who tend to attribute their life trajectory to self-blame, to guide them through an exploration of external factors that may have played a significant role.
My professional experience and specialized training with eating disorders has led me to a concentration of supporting those experiencing disordered eating, body image distress, perfectionism, relationship difficulties, and religious or faith deconstruction. In these areas, I utilize frameworks centered on body liberation — “the freedom from social and political systems of oppression that designate certain bodies as more worthy, healthy and desirable than others”.
Outside of my professional work, I enjoy attending concerts, exploring antique malls, and connecting with friends at a local coffee shop. I embrace the philosophy of ‘both/and,’ I believe in finding a balance between rest and growth in diverse places and through interactions with different people. If you feel that I could be a good fit for your needs or would like to learn more, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I look forward to the opportunity to connect with you.
