Hannah Doggett, PsyD, CADC
I have 10 years of clinical experience in multidisciplinary settings. I value consultation and interdisciplinary care when addressing the concerns of my clients and I welcome the opportunity to collaborate with other medical providers throughout the course of treatment. I primarily use cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), exposure response prevention (ERP), and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) methods and am specialized in working with anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, panic disorder, executive skills deficits, attention disorders, substance abuse, and depression. I use my experience and knowledge of neuropsychology to explain brain functioning to help clients identify and build insight into the concerns they bring to therapy.
I am committed to establishing an individualized treatment plan to maximize success and help individuals reach their goals. My therapeutic approach is solution focused. My experience with psychological and neuropsychological evaluations allows me to thoughtfully identify the problem(s) my clients are facing. Together, I work with each client to better understand the source of their concerns and to empower them with skills to make meaningful and sustainable change, independently. Often, a client’s current concerns may seem insurmountable. My therapy approach is anchored in developing a treatment plan with manageable steps to change ingrained patterns of thinking and disrupt maladaptive coping strategies.
I spent 11 years in Chicago while attending graduate school and starting my career as a psychologist. My husband and I moved back to Ohio in the spring of 2023, where I am originally from to be closer to family. I love animals, spending time outdoors, pop culture, and sports.
