Angie Cleary, LCPC
I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and have had the privilege of working with individuals in outpatient as well as partial hospital, intensive outpatient and residential settings. These opportunities infused me with an appreciation for ongoing growth and professional development. I specialize in working with mood disorders, eating disorders, relationship issues, identity formation and life transitions through the lens of proven therapeutic modalities. I particularly enjoy Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
My approach to therapy is collaborative, non-judgmental, strengths-based and warm. I listen and we work together so that you can feel empowered to explore your thoughts and emotions, process your perspective, identify your values and increase confidence on your chosen path. I value learning from clients and sharing insights as well as utilizing evidence-based practices and skills. Making changes and transitions can feel intimidating, it does not have to feel isolating.
Professionally and personally, I value gratitude, authenticity, humor and genuine interest. When I’m not working, I love to read, spend time with family and friends, take care of my ever-expanding collection of houseplants and see new places!
