Amy Joslin, LCSW
With over 20 years of clinical experience, I specialize in providing therapy to adults, adolescents, and their families from a feminist, social justice perspective. This means I help clients understand how racial, social, cultural, and political factors affect their daily lives. My goal is to help clients heal and find empowerment while processing experiences of injustice and power-imbalance.
I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Women’s Studies from Union College in Schenectady, New York, and a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Loyola University Chicago. I have extensive training in Trauma Informed Care, Non-Violent Crisis Intervention, and Child-Parent Psychotherapy. In addition, I am a nationally certified Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapist. I am married and the parent of an emerging adult. In my free time I enjoy dinners with friends, baking, walking my dog, and boxing.
