About Dr. Alana
Dr. Alana Goldberg graduated from Adler University with a doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology, with an emphasis in Child and Adolescent Psychology. She completed her predoctoral internship at Linden Oaks Behavioral Health, where she specialized in the treatment of chronic anxiety, OCD, and comorbid mood disorders.
Dr. Goldberg also has experience treating young and emerging adults who struggle with major depression, eating disorders, relationship difficulties, family conflict, low self-worth, and issues related to grief and loss. Dr. Goldberg’s clients describe her as empathic, affable, creative, and patient. Dr. Goldberg’s treatment approach utilizes evidence-based practices, such as dialectical behavioral therapy (“DBT”), as well as acceptance and commitment therapy (“ACT”), in addition to a relational psychotherapeutic approach. Dr. Goldberg believes that with the appropriate social support and emotion-management skills, individuals of all ages can live full and meaningful lives.
