Jess specializes in treating teens as young as 15 years old across the life span who are impacted by eating disorders, body-image/self-esteem, anxiety, life transitions, grief, and those who experience chronic health conditions as well as trauma. Jess empowers clients by centering autonomy, harm reduction, health at every size principles, and trauma-informed practices. Jess integrates modalities tailored to each client’s specific needs.
Jess’s approach to therapy is oriented from an anti-systems, psychodynamic, attachment-theory, and liberation psychology framework. Through humor, empathy, and compassion, she fosters a therapeutic space that helps clients achieve a deeper sense of self. Jess values collaboration with an interdisciplinary team of providers and community resources to support healing.
