Neeva Sandhu, LCPC, CRADC
I create a safe and collaborative space where clients can explore and process their experiences. Through mindfulness, self-compassion, and systems-informed approaches, I focus on helping my clients understand their thoughts and feelings within the context of their identity, social environments, and family patterns.
Background: I have a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois/Urbana in Molecular & Cellular Biology. I earned my Master’s Degree in Clinical Counseling-Psychology from Illinois State University and completed my thesis on Ethnic Identity, Acculturation Strategies, and Psychological Adjustment in Asian Indians. I am also certified in addictions.
I have over 15 years of experience providing individual and group therapy across multiple treatment settings including private practice and higher levels of care. Throughout my professional experience and dedication to social justice and equity, I have built a strong foundation to help clients explore their identities, values, and beliefs in order to empower their sense of self and improve their quality of life.
