About Meredith
Focus: Individual therapy related to adults, anxiety, depression, perfectionism and overcontrol, and body image.
Biography: Dr. Meredith Snyders is a licensed clinical psychologist.
She earned her doctoral degree in clinical psychology from Pacific University, completed her pre-doctoral internship at SUNY College at Oneonta, and completed her postdoctoral fellowship at Midwest with a focus on treatment of eating disorders. She has experience in college counseling, community mental health, and outpatient settings. Her areas of specialty include working with college and graduate students, anxiety and mood disorders, maladaptive perfectionism and overcontrol, adjustment to life transitions, relationship difficulties, low self-worth, stress management, self-compassion, and body image concerns.
Dr. Snyders’s approach to therapy is integrative, drawing from evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral, acceptance and commitment, relational, and time-limited psychodynamic therapies. She prioritizes trust, warmth, and collaboration in the therapeutic relationship and will help individuals identify goals, develop new skills, and build self-understanding to create meaningful change.
