Biography: Rupal is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with experience working in psychiatric emergency departments in hospitals, specialized mental health rehabilitation facilities, and residential settings providing individual, family, and group therapy. She brings her core values of spirituality, humor, and kindness into the therapeutic relationship to create a safe and non-judgmental environment where people feel heard and validated. She believes that the therapist functions as a tool that clients implement in gaining insight into themselves and their relationships.
Rupal employs Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Psychodynamic therapy techniques to assist her clients in challenging the mental health issues that cause them distress. She is a strengths-focused clinician who strives to collaborate with her clients to achieve their goals and live authentically. Rupal received her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Loyola University Chicago and her Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology from Northwestern University.
