Biography: Alexis Sharon, LCPC, CADC works with clients who struggle with a variety of difficulties including anxiety, depression, life transitions, self esteem issues, relationship issues, addiction, and trauma. Alexis focuses on providing clients with individualized care to help them work toward their goals. Alexis has experience providing both individual and group therapy in Partial Hospitalization Programming and Intensive Outpatient Programming settings.

Alexis utilizes Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) approaches with her clients. She focuses on helping them gain awareness around their needs and taking action to make the healthy changes they are looking for. Alexis applies a strength based approach in order to help her clients learn new ways to manage their symptoms and stressors.

Alexis received her Bachelor’s degree from Miami University where she majored in Psychology. She earned her Masters Degree in Counseling with a special focus on Clinical Mental Health as well as her Certificate in Alcohol and Drug Counseling from Adler University.

Throughout Alexis’ professional experience and education she has built a strong foundation to help clients become more in alignment with their values. Her goal is for her clients to grow mentally and emotionally through their work together.
